Check SATA/power connections, try a different port or cable. Ensure the drive is spinning up. For refurbished drives, a simple reseat often works.
SMART errors / Bad sectors
Run a quick SMART test. If errors appear, stop using the drive immediately and contact us. Your refurbished drive has a warranty.
Formatting / Partitioning
Use Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (Mac). Initialize as MBR or GPT. For refurbished drives, a full format is recommended to verify integrity.
Warranty claim
Refurbished drives come with 2 year warranty (3‑month for clearance). To claim, share your invoice and drive serial number via WhatsApp.
